Publish date: 2024-07-17

On January 26th, BTS premiered their concert film, “BTS World Tour: Love Yourself in Seoul.” The film was released in 95 countries for a total of 3,800 theaters. The release of “Love Yourself In Seoul” is said to be the largest worldwide theater event.

On the day of the premiere, the film made 2.8 million dollars in the US. By popular demand, the movie will return to theaters on February 9th and 10th!

This film gave BTS Army fans a front row seat to see BTS’s kick-off concert in Seoul Olympic Stadium for their Love Yourself World Tour. The show was filmed back in August 2018.

“Love Yourself in Seoul” gave BTS fans of all ages a chance to see them in concert. Many fans didn’t get to see BTS in the Love Yourself World tour. The group sold out every show on their tour around the world, including their first stadium show in the US at Citi Field.

This film showcased BTS’s songs from all three of their ‘Love Yourself’ albums, which include fan-favorite tracks such as “DOPE,” “Save Me,” and “Fire” to name a few.

Some lucky fans even got the chance to see BTS in ScreenX theaters. These theaters allow viewers to experience movies in 270 degrees with three screens. Fans can still see “Love Yourself in Seoul” in ScreenX theaters for two weeks following the premiere. Check out ScreenX theaters screening the BTS concert film below.

BTS Army took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the film. They revealed how the film brought them post-concert depression.

Some fans even took the opportunity to hand out free BTS merch. You can say they got a lot of love back.
