Romelu Lukaku is a Belgian professional footballer. He plays as a striker for Premier League club Chelsea and the Belgium national team. He made his name as a formidable striker for Premier League club Everton, and has also played for Anderlecht, West Bromwich Albion, Manchester United, and Inter Milan.

He was born in Antwerp, Belgium, to Congolese parents. His father, Roger Lukaku (Roger Menama Lukaku), who was born in Kinshasa, is also a professional footballer, who played as a forward, and represented Zaire internationally. His brother, Jordan Lukaku, and his cousin, Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo, are also professional footballers. Romelu is a practising Catholic.

On 10 July, 2017, Romelu moved from Everton to Manchester United for a then-record £75 million fee, plus £15 million in add-ons.
